With a continuous modernization of the mobile network Telekom is getting ready for 5G

We would like to inform our customers that the modernization of the mobile network continues until we cover the entire territory of Macedonia. This action will significantly increase the network capacity and it will create conditions for the implementation of the latest technologies.

By replacing the equipment with a new state-of-the-art technology, we will ensure an even better customer experience and we will get ready for the introduction of the fifth generation network 5G.

From August till now we successfully implemented the modernization in the following regions: Stip, Kavadarci, Negotino, Gradsko, Veles, Prilep, Krusevo, Demir Hisar and Bitola.

During the next phase, we will continue in the following regions:

• Resen (the town and the surroundings): 25.10 - 05.11.2021
• Ohrid (the town and the surroundings): 25.10 - 19.11.2021
• Struga (the town and the surroundings): 08.11 - 19.11.2021

Having regard to the fact that the equipment is being replaced, there may be certain interruptions and a decrease in the quality of the services for the customers with duration of several hours and we are highly appreciative of your understanding in that regard.
