Hoeven, Cotton to Biden Administration: Protect Jewish Students From Pro-Hamas, Anti-Semitic Mobs

WASHINGTON - Senator John Hoeven and a group of 25 other senators, led by Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR), pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland and Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona to protect Jewish students being targeted by pro-Hamas, anti-Semitic mobs and to restore order to the college campuses that have been shut down by ongoing protests.

"You need to take action to restore order and protect Jewish students on our college campuses," wrote the senators. "President Biden issued a statement on Sunday, purporting to condemn the outbreak of anti-Semitism. If that statement was serious, it must be accompanied by immediate action from your departments."
