Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Thailand paid a courtesy call on Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs

On 5 October 2022, H.E. Mr. Riadh Dridi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, after presenting the letter of credence to His Majesty King Rama X. On this occasion, Mr. Prasert Tejavibulya, Honorary Consul of Tunisia also attended the meeting.

Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to Thailand expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Thailand for the donation of medical supplies to Tunisia as humanitarian assistance to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress of the bilateral relations and discussed ways to elevate the relations and promote cooperation in key areas, such as trade, cultural events, people-to-people contacts as well as cooperation in international fora.

Thailand and Tunisia established their diplomatic relations in 1967. Both countries have cordial relations at bilateral and multilateral levels.
