Biden Refuses To Take Responsibility For Border Crisis And Makes False Claims Instead

During his press conference on Thursday, President Biden refused to take responsibility for the fact that the border crisis is a direct result of his Administration's policies and rhetoric that have encouraged migrants to attempt to unlawfully enter the United States.

ABC News' Cecilia Vega cited a report she recently filed demonstrating the crisis on the border and asked about one mother who said she sent her son to this country because of President Biden's rhetoric:

• In his answer, the President did not acknowledge that his Administration is responsible for the the historic surge of migrants to the border, and falsely claimed that 'nothing has changed' and that the migrant surge 'happens every single solitary year.'
• In fact, illegal border crossings in February, 2021 increased 173% from February, 2020 and they have increased 28% from January, 2021 when President Biden signed executive orders that eliminated border security policies:
