Enjoy Life bakery products recalled

Enjoy Life Brands, LLC is voluntarily recalling a limited quantity of its baked snack products because of the potential presence of foreign material, specifically hard plastic pieces, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent July 5.

The Defense Commissary Agency has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, chief, public health division, DeCA headquarters at Fort Lee, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.

The following items are affected by this recall:

• Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies - Snickerdoodle, 6 ounces: UPC 853522000184 with "best by" dates of March 4 and 10, 2023
• Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies - Double Chocolate Brownie, 6 ounces: UPC853522000214 with "best by" date of March 6, 2023
• Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies - Sunseed Butter Chocolate Chip, 6 ounces: UPC819597013801 with "best by" date of March 3, 2023
• Enjoy Life Soft Baked Cookies - Monster, 6 ounces: UPC819597013818 with "best by" dates of Feb. 6 and March 3, 2023
• Enjoy Life Chewy Bars - Sunseed Crunch, 5.75 ounces: UPC853522000627 with "best by" date of March 3, 2023
• Enjoy Life Chewy Bars - Caramel Blondie, 5.75 ounces: UPC819597011258 with "best by" dates of March 3-4, 2023
• Enjoy Life Soft Baked Fruit & Oat Breakfast Ovals - Apple Cinnamon, 8.8 ounces: UPC819597012569 with "best by" dates of Feb. 12, 13, 20 and March 12-13, 2023

No other Enjoy Life products are affected by this recall.

Customers should return this product to the commissary of purchase for a full refund.
