SPARKS, Nev. (6/27/22) - To accommodate 4th of July events taking place in the City of Sparks, including the Nugget Casino Resort's Star Spangled Sparks, a number of road closures will be in place from July 4 to July 5, 2022.
In the vicinity of Victorian Avenue in downtown Sparks, the following closures will be in place starting Sunday, July 4 from 3 a.m. to Monday, July 5 at 7 p.m.

For convenience, park and ride shuttle service is offered to downtown Sparks from 6 to 11 p.m. on July 4:
The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Washoe County is offering free transit service to the community on its RAPID Lincoln Line from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Route 11 from 4 p.m. to midnight Sunday, July 4. These RTC transit routes drop event goers off at the RTC Centennial Plaza in Victorian Square near the Nugget Casino Resort.
As a reminder to attendees, it is unlawful to bring an animal into the area designated for a special event occurring at Victorian Square.
Star Spangled Sparks takes place at Victorian Square in downtown Sparks on July 4 from 4 - 10 p.m. The event brings together food, entertainment and an evening capped with fireworks. The estimated fireworks launch time is 9:45 p.m. Follow Nugget Twitter feed at @SparksNugget for details on the launch or for any changes.
