Second South Haymarket Skatepark Open House Set for May 7

Online survey open May 8 through 22

The Parks and Recreation Department invites residents to an open house May 7 regarding an initial draft for the design of the South Haymarket Skatepark. The free event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at The Bay, 2005 "Y" St. An online survey will be available from May 8 through 22 at lincoln.ne.gov/HaymarketSkatepark.

A formal presentation of the proposed skatepark design for South Haymarket Park, Seventh and "N" streets, will take place during the first half of the open house. Parks and Recreation staff and representatives from park designer Olsson Studio and skatepark designer Spohn Ranch will be available throughout the event to present design alternatives and answer questions.

Paper copies of the survey will be available at the following locations:

• Lincoln Parks and Recreation administrative offices, Suite 300, 3131 "O" St.
• The Bay, 2005 "Y" St.
• Precision Skateboards, 1622 "O" St.
