At the Sharapovo firing range near Moscow, participants in the Army International Games 2022 (Arms 2022) Special Jerk competition inspected, trained their firearms and performed a precision firearms test.
Competitors from ammunition transport units fired Makarov pistol (PM) and Kalashnikov rifle (AK-74M) at distances of 25 and 100 metres respectively. The weapons were provided by the host country, the Russian Federation.
The Special Breakthrough international competition will take place as part of the 2022 Army International Games at the Sharapovo training range near Moscow from 17-26 August. Military personnel from Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Congo, Mali, Russia, Tajikistan, Vietnam and Zimbabwe will take part.
