week of celebration will begin on December 7th at the Sheraton Santos Hotel in Santos, Brazil, and will bring together guests, customers, and locals to discover the latest Sheraton property in Latin America. Santos elegantly blends the entrepreneurial spirit of a bustling port with the tranquil beauty of white sandy beaches to create one of Brazil's most unique destinations. This is why it was chosen to be Sheraton's "Heart for the City" experiential tour's fifth stop - the only one in the region.
Sheraton Santos is conveniently located in the city center, yet only a few miles from the renowned beachfront garden, municipal aquarium, Mendes Convention Center, and the Port of Santos, which is one of the busiest in Latin America. The hotel opened in August 2018 and boasts a distinct and vibrant aesthetic with modern interiors that encourage a community experience. The hotel has 212 rooms and suites that offer uplifting city views where one can relax and enjoy their stay.

"Heart for the City" is a tour that celebrates communities and Sheraton's role within them, featuring one-of-a-kind immersive experiences designed specifically for each destination. Each experience features fun and unique visual perspectives on local icons, places, and ideas central to the city's identity. The stop in Santos will highlight the city's fascinating history in the coffee trade, iconic soccer tradition, and incredible natural resources - from the lush greenery of its world-class beach gardens to the underwater beauty of its Laje de Santos Marine Park. Guests will be engaged and entertained as they experience this unique city and Sheraton in a whole new way.
As part of the celebration, Santos' "Heart for the City" stop will offer guests a one-of-a-kind immersive experience where they will be able to see first-hand the future vision of Sheraton Hotels. Visitors will get a peek at the upcoming redesign of Sheraton via a dynamic video projection experience showing how the brand will utilize space redesign and curated amenities and services to enable gathering and productivity.
Along with the immersive vignettes, the tour features Sheraton's community voices programming that invites unique Santos personalities, businesses, and groups to gather at the hotel to give talks, share demos, and lead presentations for guests and locals. On December 8th the Sheraton Santos Hotel community voices session will be hosted by a Priscila Quirós who will lead an in-depth discussion in her areas of expertise.

"Heart for the City" tour kicked off on August 31 with a 1,500 person grand opening event at the Sheraton Saint-Hyacinthe Hotel (Québec, Canada), followed by a week-long celebration at the Sheraton Grand Seattle and events in Cairo and Sydney. Following the celebrations at the Sheraton Santos from December 7th-9th, upcoming dates are:
