Traffic Advisory - Bridge #014054 is Closed on Appleton Boulevard

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (May 17, 2024) - The Appleton Boulevard bridge (Bridge # 014054) over the Santa Cruz Waterway will be closed from Monday, May 20, until Saturday, Aug. 3. This closure is required for rehabilitation work and is part of the South Gulf Cove Bridge Repairs project. Travelers are directed to a detour with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.

The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
