Border defence friendship exchange contributes to consolidating Vietnam - Cambodia relations

(Bqp.vn) - On May 15, after a welcoming ceremony for the Vietnamese delegation at Trapeang Sre Border Gate, the Vietnamese defence delegation led by its Defence Minister General Phan Van Giang took part in activities in the framework of the first Vietnam - Cambodia border defence friendship exchange.

Accordingly, Vietnamese Minister of National Defence General Phan Van Giang and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Samdech Pichay Sena Tea Banh saluted Border Marker, planted friendship trees, witnessed a joint patrol, cut the ribbon to open a military - civilian medical centre, and visited primary schools.
