The Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science announced on Tuesday the arrest of a gang of nine individuals of foreign nationalities for drug possession and dealing. They were dealing with Cocaine and other narcotic substances, targeting a specific group of people who could afford such narcotics.

The discovery of the case was part of the efforts of the Interior Ministry to fight crimes, combat addiction and protect the security and safety of society.

The Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science said that a security operation was carried out for more than two months as part of an investigation into received information about the gang members resulted in identifying and arresting the suspects. Cocaine, other narcotic substances and drug money were seized. Legal proceedings were taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.
