Liberty Fest Volunteers Needed!

Every year Canton Liberty Fest brings the entire community together for a wonderful celebration and the success of this beloved annual event is due in large part to our amazing volunteers, who step up and support Canton. Now more than ever we need volunteer support for this year's community festival! Plenty of exciting opportunities are available June 16-18 in Heritage Park, including: Welcome and Information booth greeters, Bike Corral assistants, Adult Beer and Wine Garden helpers, and more.

We're going to be very honest! Your support will go a long way to ensuring that this year's event is one for the memory books! If you've ever enjoyed any of Canton's wonderful amenities at any of our parks, trails, or facilities, here's your chance to give back! We're asking for participation in just one shift and an orientation session. Choose which orientation you'd like to attend: Monday, June 13th from 6-7 p.m. or Tuesday, June 14th from 10-11 a.m. Both are held at the Canton Administration Building's Boardroom, located at 1150 S. Canton Center Road.

Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to volunteer without a parent or guardian with them at all times and will receive a Liberty Fest T-Shirt during orientation.

For details on how you can help support Liberty Fest, please call Leisure Services' new Volunteer Coordinator Heather VanHartesveldt at 734/394-5191 or email [email protected]. Applications can be found here. Don't miss out on your chance to help things run smoothly during this year's event! Thank you for considering a volunteer position at this year's Liberty Fest!
