The Portland Timbers' preseason kicked into fifth gear on Wednesday, with the team's 2020 squad unveiled to the press during a Media Day at Providence Park. While players made their rounds from station to station, from photo booths to press conferences, Breaking Lines had its own station set up, ready to capture the mood at the team's first public session of the season.
On this episode of the show, Homegrown defender Marco Farfan looks back on his 2019 and forward to his next professional season before his teammates, as they made their way through Tanner Ridge, stopped by to answer questions posed to each other, as well as give their thoughts on the Thorns' offseason, teammates' FIFA skills, the divide between family and locker-room life, as well as their favorite breeds of dogs.
Hard-hitting, this session is not, but three days into the new campaign, this was the mood of the Timbers, from Providence Park.
