On October 6, 2021, Austin Police Department officers responded to the 3800 block of Manor Road in reference to a crash. The driver of a moped struck a curb and was thrown from the moped. The driver, Bobby Jones, was transported to a local hospital where he died on October 14, 2021, due to his injuries.
