Evanston Symphony Performance at Wallace Bowl

Wednesday, August 24 at 6:30 p.m.

The Evanston Symphony will be helping Wilmette celebrate 150 years with a concert at Wallace Bowl at Gillson Park. The Symphony will be performing a piece popularized by one-time Wilmette resident Percy Faith entitled "The Syncopated Clock." Other pieces on the program include Strauss's Die Fledermaus Overture, selections from My Fair Lady, two pieces by John Williams from his movies, excerpts from Copland's "Rodeo" including "Hoe Down," and Sousa's Washington Post March.
