A woman missing from Sydney's southwest has been located safe and well.

The 68-year-old man was reported missing when she left her Earlwood home and did not return, about 9am yesterday (Tuesday 24 May 2022).

Following inquiries and an appeal for public assistance, officers located the woman in Parramatta about 11pm last night.

Police would like to thank the media and the community for their assistance.
