Pre-sale of collector coins will be renewed on 23 April, at 10:00

Pre-sale of the €20 silver collector coin dedicated to the 230th anniversary of the Constitution of 3 May and Mutual Pledge of the Commonwealth of the Two Nations at the e-shop will be renewed on 23 April, at 10:00.

Pre-sale of the new collector coins was temporarily suspended due to information technology (IT) disruptions. Technical problems that determined the suspension were eliminated.

After the pre-sale is renewed, 1,423 collector coins will be sold at the e-shop. In total, 1,557 coins were available for sale, of which, 134 coins were sold yesterday, 21 April, before the disruptions of the e-shop's operation.

On the basis of the Regulations for the Sale of Numismatic Items of the Bank of Lithuania, the whole mintage of 2,500 coins was distributed as follows:

  • 1,557 coins were allocated for sale via the e-shop;
  • 750 coins (30% of the mintage) were reserved for the official distributors of the numismatic items of the Bank of Lithuania;
  • 125 coins (5% of the mintage) were allocated for the representational needs of the State of Lithuania, local authorities as well as state and municipal authorities;
  • 68 coins were allocated to Lithuanian museums and the representational needs of the Bank of Lithuania.
