On G2, CI sits within the broader "Sales Acceleration Software" market and is defined as software that records, transcribes, and analyzes sales calls. Through analyzing sales calls, CI software can identify keywords and topics of conversation so users can quickly jump to those points in the recorded sales calls and further analyze valuable insights.

To determine the top Market Movers in a software category, we identify the top three products from vendors with less than 2,000 employees according to the following set of key criteria (taking into account their percent change from the previous year):

  • Reviews- products with the most reviews left on G2.com over the past year
  • G2 Profile Views- most page views over the past year
  • Unique Buyer Intent Visitors- most unique buyer intent visitors over the past year (visitors which are verified as in-market buyers according to firmographic data)

Because we're aiming to highlight up-and-coming players in a particular space, we are only including products whose companies have less than 2,000 employees. I'd also like to note that in uncovering our Market Movers, we are taking into consideration all products within this specific category, not just products whose main category is Conversation Intelligence.
