Join us from from April 20 to 27 to experience the great outdoors, learn what challenges face our planet, and learn how to get involved. This year, the City is taking you on a path to a sustainable future with exciting events for all ages.
Unleash your inner eco-detective at a scavenger hunt through Cameron Park Zoo, catch an impactful environmental movie screening, or explore the future of transportation at the EV car show. Plant a tree for a greener tomorrow on Arbor Day, embark on a thrilling night hike at Lake Waco Wetlands, and end the week with a bang at the Care for Waco Carnival.

Come help plant our first community garden! We have three large raised beds and one small raised bed to fill with seeds and small plants. Mimi Quintero from McLennan County Master Gardeners will show how to set up water-smart ollas within the garden. This event is for the whole family as even the littlest helpers are welcome to come get messy!
Snacks and water will be provided.
