Lancaster Performing Arts Center Announces 2022 - 2023 Season Lineup

Lancaster, CA. August 9, 2022 - The City of Lancaster is pleased to share that the Lancaster Performing Arts Center (LPAC) will be announcing 2022-2023 season performances on August 9. Ticket packages (six or more shows) will be available the same day and single show tickets will be available on August 23.

In-person theatrical and musical performances will resume on October 8, 2022 with the AV's own Lee Matalon as he presents Jazz Horizons, a jazz club experience. The season will conclude on May 28, 2023 with multiple performances of Something Rotten, a Renaissance-based musical comedy presented by Cedar Street Theatre (CST).

LPAC's artist roster for the season features an array of performances that cater to audience members of all ages and backgrounds. The new season includes nostalgic odes to classic performances such as Space Oddity - The Ultimate David Bowie Experience, Bohemian Queen, L.A. Cast of Beatlemania, A Tribute to Johnny Cash featuring James Garner, Las Cafeteras presenting Hasta La Muerta, Elton John's Classic Hits - LIVE!, Stevie Ray Visited, and The Long Run - Experience the Eagles. This season's lineup will also feature a number of comedy and drama acts, including Saturday Night Live alumnus Rob Schneider on his I Have Issues Tour, the winner of Star Search's best comedian Lester Barrie, and FRIENDS! The Musical Parody.

Musical theater offerings for the 2022 - 2023 season include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Grimmz Fairy Tales, Missoula Children's Theatre presenting Rumpelstiltskin, and CST's A Christmas Carol. The live musical lineup features performances from Lonestar, Storm Large, Judy Collins, Ricky Nelson Remembered starring Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, Pam Tillis and Lorrie Morgan: Grits & Glamour, Edwin McCain, Air Supply, and more. LPAC will also host a variety of dance-based performances this season, including The Nutcracker presented by Antelope Valley Ballet (AVB), Forever Motown, and Step Afrika.

The City of Lancaster proudly offers a diverse set of cultural events through LPAC, entertaining and educating visitors from Antelope Valley and beyond. The arts bring our community together each year, and the City of Lancaster welcomes the public to join in this tradition once again.
