Head of NA Armenia-Lithuania Friendship Group Meets with Delegation Led by Deputy Speaker of Seimas of Lithuania

On November 18, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Lithuania Friendship Group Anush Begloian met with the Deputy Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Andrius Mazuronis and the members of the Delegation led by him being in Yerevan.

In November 1991, the diplomatic relations between Armenia and Lithuania were established. Lithuania is the only Baltic country which officially recognized the Armenian Genocide.

Anush Begloian underlined the importance of the development of the Armenian-Lithuanian diplomatic relations, as well as the continuity of cooperation in the international structures. The Head of the Friendship Group expressed her gratitude to the Lithuanian side for the material and moral support in the fight against pandemic, as well as in the international structures and during the 44-day war. The NA deputy underlined the necessity of the development of the Armenian-Lithuanian relations.

The Deputy Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania also noted the importance of the development of relations from both sides and the strengthening of cooperation between the parliaments.
