Notice of Construction and Road Closure (Vaughan Lane from Stoltz Hill Road to the east side of Fifth Street)

The City of Lebanon is currently under contract with Emery & Sons Construction to construct the Westside Sanitary Sewer Interceptor. Construction of the new sanitary sewer began south of Airport Road in late September 2021. The first phase of the project which was to install new sewer pipe along Airway Road, Stoltz Hill Road and Vaughan Lane from Oak Creek to Seventh Place has been completed.

Beginning August 24, 2022, Vaughan Lane will now be closed to through traffic from Stoltz Hill Road to the east side of Fifth Street for the next phase of construction. See the press release below for the attached map that identifies the closure area. Motorists who would normally use Vaughan Lane to access S. Fifth Street are advised to use the detour as indicated with the attached map. It is anticipated that this closure will last until mid-October 2022.

Residents along S. Fifth Street should also be aware that as the project continues, S. Fifth will eventually be closed to through traffic from Vaughan Lane to south of Jadon Drive. This closure is not expected to take place until early/mid 2023. An additional notice will be issued in advance of this closure.
