'JSATMarine' selected to provide high-speed maritime broadband service to Cable-Laying Vessel 'KIZUNA'

Japan Radio Co., Ltd. ( JRC ), SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation ( SKY Perfect JSAT ) and NTT World Engineering Marine Corporation ( NTT WE Marine ) announced today that cable-laying vessel "KIZUNA" operated by NTT WE Marine will use SKY Perfect JSAT's new high-speed maritime broadband service "JSATMarine" for its communication network. KIZUNA is the first user vessel of JSATMarine.

With this significant network upgrade of on-board internet environment, NTT WE Marine expects acceleration in digital transformation and improvement in crew welfare.

SKY Perfect JSAT, NTT WE Marine and JRC will continue to provide connectivity solutions to meet customer needs and strive to deliver the highest standards of maritime broadband services.
