This certification highlights and recognizes the proper application of good practices throughout the management process of coronavirus. It also verifies that the company's protocols are in accordance with the regulations and best practices set out in order to deal with the risks associated with COVID-19 in our facilities.
This recognition is key in demonstrating to our stakeholders the commitment and guarantees necessary to generate and boost their confidence in EDPR's good work. In this sense, AENOR has developed a certification process surrounding the regulations and measures put in place by various organizations in order to face this challenge, collaborating in the process of the return to normality, in the control of the day-to-day situation, and contributing value in the business-continuity processes.
Javier Diaz, our Health & Safety & Sustainability Director, Europe and Brazil said 'This certification is recognition of all the efforts we have been making to protect our employees since the crisis began. We have worked against the clock to meet the needs of the entire organization and it is extremely satisfying to see that, after an audit of our processes and facilities, a certification company validates everything we have implemented.'
The certification covers all of EDPR's activities: from project development to construction and operation. It also takes into account all the associated activities that are developed by EDPR, covering each and every aspect of the company.
