FPD investigating firearm discharge in Heather Ridge Drive area

On Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 at approximately 9 p.m., the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of the 800 and 900 Blocks of Heather Ridge Drive for several reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arriving on scene, officers located evidence of gunfire including several residences that had been struck and learned that a group of approximately five or six males that had fled the scene were possibly involved.
