With shortlisted talent and programmes across 12 individual categories, including best Music Specials, Community Social Action and Sports Programming, Wireless is among the top broadcasters leading the charge.

The IMRO Awards recognise the high levels of talent both on and off air that Ireland has to offer. With over 550+ entries to whittle down, a team of over 90 judges from across the industry listened to over 275 hours worth of entries, resulting in 134 nominations for local stations and 84 for national.

The IMRO Radio Awards 2018 take place on Friday October 5th at the Lyrath Estate, Kilkenny. Over 600 guests are expected to attend the event in the hopes of taking home the gold.
