Information about a cyber-attack

Levallois-Perret (France), July 9, 2021

Keyrus has suffered a cyber-attack that was part of a worldwide ransomware attack. In spite of the reinforced security measures applied on a daily basis to protect the data and integrity of the IT resources connected to, and installed on, the Keyrus group's systems, part of them has been encrypted.

The source of the attack has been identified. Keyrus's IT department was immediately alerted to the abuse occurring. In accordance with the group's risk management plan, isolation and security measures were promptly implemented to contain the spread of the virus and protect Keyrus's clients and partners.

Keyrus's teams were mobilized within the first few hours following the incident. To assist them in analyzing the causes and modus operandi of the attack, they have been supported, both in France and internationally, by technical experts in cybersecurity, some of whom have been mandated by Keyrus's insurer.

Keyrus has also put in place a remediation plan guaranteeing the progressive and secure restart of its IT systems, and ensuring the continuity of its services and operations.
