At the Opuk training ground in Crimea, CSS units of the Black Sea Fleet conduct a set of special exercise on combat service support

At the Opuk interspecific training ground in Crimea, as part of a two way brigade tactical exercise, CSS units deployed a combat service support area.

At the first stage, the CSS units made a march from the point of permanent deployment to the place of the exercise. According to the plan of the event, the combat service support area was to be deployed in the second echelon of the defending subunits.

At the second stage, CSS specialists completed the deployment of a logistics support area, equipped a field camp for accommodating personnel, a mobile bath and laundry complex, a field bakery, a fuel and lubricants warehouse, as well as a collection point for damaged equipment and a workshop for the repair, restoration and maintenance of combat and special equipment.

The exercise is held according to the general plan and as part of a control check of the troops (forces) of the district for the 2021 training year.

In total, about 8 thousand servicemen were involved in the command post with the associations and formations of the Southern Military District, about 350 units of weapons and military equipment from the combined arms armies, air force and air defence formations and units of the combat arms and special forces of district subordination, the forces of the Black Sea Fleet and Caspian flotilla.
