St. Pete's Largest Plant Festival Returns

April 23, 2024 - The annual Green Thumb Festival, the City of St. Petersburg's Arbor Day celebration, returns on Saturday, April 27, through Sunday, April 28, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day at Walter Fuller Park, 7891 26th Avenue N. The City's largest plant festival features over 120 garden, plant and flower vendors, exhibitors, and activities for all ages.

Join the fun during the two-day festival by participating in the featured activities:

  • Adult and youth workshops at the main tent. A full list of workshops is available at www.greenthumbfestival.com. There are limited spaces available. Preregistration is required.

  • The Garden Wagon Decorating Contest and Showcase on Saturday, April 27, at 11 a.m. Anyone can enter to deck out their garden wagon for prizes. There are two entry categories: youth and adult. Entry fee is $5. For contest rules and registration, visit greenthumbfestival.com.

Festival highlights also include the St. Petersburg Garden Club's Flower Show, the $6 tree sale, plant diagnostic clinic, ask an arborist, tool sharpening, a raffle for free mulch delivery to your home, free pine seedlings, festival merchandise, food trucks, and more.
