- The Kutztown University women's swimming team dives into the big stage this weekend and will look to keep the momentum of its late season success. KU will travel seven athletes this week to the 2020 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, being conducted Wednesday-through-Saturday at the Graham Aquatic Center inside the York County (Pa.) YMCA. Action begins at 10 a.m. on each of the four days of the championships, beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 19 and concluding Saturday, Feb. 22. Preliminaries start at 10 a.m. every morning with finals slated for 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Golden Bears finished the regular season 7-2 overall, including winning their last seven scored meets. They defeated PSAC-foes East Stroudsburg, Millersville and Lock Haven in dual meets earlier this season, with the lone league loss to Shippensburg. Juniors , and , sophomores , and , along with freshman are all set to hit the pool during the four-day event. Brenneman and Seidt are back at the championships for the third straight year and have each qualified for four different events. DeCaro, Owens and Walker return following qualification as freshman last year. Hayward and Bedson are first-year competitors for the Maroon and Gold. Last season, Kutztown placed 10th overall at the event, the team's best finish at the PSAC Championships since placing ninth in 2012.
