Shooting incident in Stamullen, Meath on the 3/8/17


Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident which occurred in the driveway of a house at Mill Close, Stamullen Co Meath this evening (3/8/17) at approximately 7pm.
From initial investigations it appears that a lone male entered the driveway of the house at the above location and fired a number of shots injuring the male driver of a car. The injured man has been removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. His condition is unknown at this stage. A full investigation has commenced and an incident room has been established at Drogheda Garda Station. Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, particularly those people who were in the area prior to the incident and immediately after the shooting and who may have information or who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious to contact them at Drogheda Garda Station on 041 987 4200 The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
