Washington, D.C. - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Congressman Ken Calvert to represent California's Forty-First Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will stand up for free enterprise, including by vigorously advocating for public policy solutions that will spur economic growth, support jobs, and promote businesses of all sizes' ability to continue to innovate and invest in America.
"Congressman Ken Calvert has a proven track record of delivering results for hard working families and businesses in Riverside County," said U.S. Chamber of Commerce Western Region Vice President Jennings Imel. "As a former small business owner, Congressman Calvert understands the pressures faced by small businesses and has been a champion of pro-jobs, free market policies throughout his career in Congress. The U.S. Chamber is proud to endorse Congressman Ken Calvert for California's 41st Congressional District."
"As a former small business owner, I understand the challenges that come with trying to keep the lights on and employees paid," said Congressman Ken Calvert. "Entrepreneurs, small business owners, and job creators continue to struggle under record inflation, labor shortages, and oppressive new taxes from Sacramento and DC alike. I'm honored to have the support of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and will continue fighting every day to support the innovators and small businesses who drive our economy."
"With inflation, new mandates, continuing supply and labor shortages, today's environment has made it harder than ever to be a small business owner," said Evan Trubee, owner of Big Wheel Tours in Palm Desert. "Small business can count on Congressman Calvert to stand up to the nonsense policies that are hurting small business like ours and fight to create an economy where entrepreneurs can thrive."
