Monona Terrace Announces Concerts on the Rooftop Season

Monona Terrace is excited to announce its free summer Concerts on the Rooftop lineup! The public is invited to enjoy great music and gorgeous views of Lake Monona and downtown Madison.

The rooftop and Lake Vista Café open at 5:30 p.m. with Concerts from 7- 9 p.m. Free tickets are available at mononaterrace.com/concerts

THURSDAYS:

June 13 La Combi is an eclectic Latin Band that gets its name from the "Combi'" buses of Peru, which are the main public transportation. La Combi has something for every Latin American taste, including Peruvian Salsa, Chicha (Peruvian Cumbia), Merengue, Festejo, Bachata and more!

June 20 Sixteen Candles Experience the nostalgia and energy of the greatest decade of music - the 1980s! Entertaining audiences since 2003, Sixteen Candles travels the country to bring '80s music to life in full force for a memorable and exciting concert experience that you won't soon forget.

June 27 Wurk is a six-piece funk-fusion group from Madison, playing innovative interpretations of popular covers that blend jazz fusion, progressive and jam rock, and more all with the consistent underlying grooves of funk. Described by Isthmus as "summer-jam-perfect," this two-time Madison Area Music Association Artist of the Year will keep you dancing all night long.

July 11 The Docksiders are made up of veteran musicians originally from Milwaukee, and now based in Las Vegas, Nevada - led by three-time Grammy™ nominee, Kevin Sucher. Their unique tribute act of your favorite soft rock songs of the '70s and '80s - now defined as Yacht Rock - have been entertaining hundreds of thousands of people for years - and audiences are only getting bigger!

July 18 Kinfolk is an American R&B band based in Madison, playing an array of traditional jazz to mainstream R&B and rock-based music to funk, Latin, and Jamaican-based rhythms, as well as a variety of soulful original tunes. Kinfolk is lauded for their captivating live performances, which infuse soulful harmonies and gritty vocals to recreate memories of the past and point to the promise of the future.

July 25 The People Brothers Band's unique brand of rhythm and soul features some of the most talented vocalists and musicians in the region. The vibrant group of longtime friends, collaborators, and multi-dimensional artists formed in 2008 as an open mic songwriting outfit and hasn't looked back since.
