OTR of INS Kochi at Safaga

INS Kochi made port call at Safaga, Egypt, on 29 June 2022. A friendly football match was organised between Indian Navy and Egyptian Navy personnel at the Red Sea Navy Base football field.The chief guest for the event was Rear Admiral Mohammed Nabil Ibrahim Ahmed, Base Commander of Safaga Naval Base. 15 Officers and 20 sailors of EN visited INS Kochi and were briefed about the various compartments including Bridge, MCR, Sickbay and Helo deck. As part of the cross visit, seven officers and 12 sailors of INS Kochi also visited three ships of Egyptian Navy {one Frigate, ENS Abu Qir (F 941) and two Offshore Patrol Boats, ENS Abu Ubaidh Ibn El Jarrah (705) and ENS Al Zubair Bn Al Awam (709)}.
