Deliveroo launches inaugural Restaurant Awards in Singapore, with public voting open for 45 restaurant and grocery finalists

A foodie haven, Singapore has no shortage of delicious options, from comforting and savoury meals to delightful desserts for the sweet-toothed, to addictive snacks that have you coming back for more. For the first time, Singapore's most-loved food delivery service,Deliveroo, is bringing its Restaurant Awards to the Little Red Dot.

Originally launched in the UK, Singapore's first-ever Restaurant Awards will celebrate the thousands of local restaurant and grocery partners on the platform who are committed to delighting our taste buds every day. As part of the Awards, Deliveroo has identified nine awards categories to showcase the breadth of food options that customers can enjoy on the platform. The company has today revealed the 45 restaurant finalists according to Deliveroo's in-app data for each award category via aFacebook voting post. Five finalists have been selected per category based on metrics such as performance and popularity on the app, indicating their track record for delighting customers and satisfying their food cravings and needs.

How Can Customers Get Involved?

From today until 31 December, Deliveroo foodies are invited to vote for their favourites and stand a chance to win weekly Deliveroo credits worth $200. Two lucky voters at random will be selected each week to enjoy credits off their next Deliveroo order. The Deliveroo Singapore Restaurant Awards 2021 winners will be announced on 4 January, 2022.

Deliveroo foodies will decide which finalists will be unveiled as the winners in early January, based on the highest number of votes through the Facebook poll. Facebook voting closes on 31 December, and the winners will be announced on 4 January 2022 on Facebook. The nine restaurant and grocery partners will be featured in a dedicated category on the Deliveroo app so that customers can directly explore their award-winning menus.
