ATLANTA- and will be presenting at the 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association Convention from December 18-22 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The annual event is the largest gathering of volleyball coaches in the world for education, networking, and social events.

Van Fleet will be presenting in three different sessions: Set for Success, To Pull or Not to Pull, That is the Question, and Serving in the Sand: A Point Scoring Opportunity. Holly will be presenting in the Measuring and Utilizing Performance Data to Develop Beach Volleyball Athletes session. Industry leaders and coaches from every level of the sport for both genders in indoor and beach will converge on the David L. Lawrence Convention Center to instruct and learn from their peers. USA Women's and Men's National Team Head Coaches Karch Kiraly and John Speraw have sessions. In addition, club, high school, and college coaching legends have on-court presentations and panel discussions focusing on the on-court technical aspect of the sport as well as off-court issues.

'The AVCA convention provides an excellent opportunity for coaches to learn, network and watch incredible indoor matches,' said Van Fleet. 'This year, Beach Nation is working with the AVCA to provide the majority of on-sand presentations. I'm excited to hear about different approaches to teaching and share some of what I've learned over the last eight years.'

With over 2,500 coaches, administrators, and exhibitors expected to be in attendance, this convention is widely regarded as a must-attend in the volleyball community.

'Attending the convention is an excellent opportunity to improve myself as a teacher through being a student,' said Holly. 'I'm looking forward to being able to speak, listen and learn with some of the best coaching educators in the country so I can be my best self for our players at Georgia State.'
