Homicide Investigation

New Orleans Police are investigating a homicide which occurred shortly before 4:47 p.m. today (04/27/2024) near the intersection of Freret and Sixth Streets.

According to investigators, an adult male and a juvenile male were in a vehicle near the intersection of Freret and Sixth when an unknown subject or subjects opened fire on them.

The adult male was transported to hospital by New Orleans EMS, and he was later pronounced dead of his injuries.

The juvenile male was transported to hospital by New Orleans EMS and he is reportedly in stable condition.
