The Racial Equity Fund (REF) of the Athens County Foundation is calling for members from the Athens County community to serve on the advisory committee of REF and/or ad hoc group(s) to help advance the mission and vision of the REF. The REF provides financial support to selected anti-racist educational projects and community programs, while building capacity and opportunities for Peope of the Global Majority in Athens County. The vision of the REF is to address racial equity gaps which will make Athens County a sustainable, vibrant place where all residents, including hose of the Global Majority, can live safely, connect meaningfully, work successfully, and thrive.

The selection of advisory committee members will be based on:
- Quantity and quality of community service related to racial equity.
- Relevant skill and experience
- Ability to include the voice for youth in the racial equity dialog.
- Passion and capacity for advancing the REF's mission and vision.
