March for Life

House Minority Leader Tony McCombie spoke at today's March for Life at and around the capitol. McCombie was joined at the rally by her House and Senate Republican colleagues, and thousands of advocates who traveled from across Illinois to support life.

"We need to unite and fight back together on the extremes," said McCombie during her remarks.

"Democrats are no longer talking about abortions being safe, legal, and rare. Now, they push for the extremes. Illinois Democrats have passed and allowed for abortions up until the moment of birth, taking parents out of counsel and decision making, and putting taxpayers on the hook."
