Family Recreation Center to reopen

The Family Recreation Center plans to reopen by 6 p.m.

The facility closed earlier Friday due to a water main break. The City of Killeen's Public Works Department has successfully repaired the leak and is restoring water service in the area,

However, due to the break, the facility is under a boil water notice, so staff will provide bottled water to patrons who may need it. Or alternatively, patrons may bring their own water.

The Lions Club Park Senior Center will remain closed, and plans to reopen for normal business on Monday.
