The City of Middleton Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing and consider taking action on the following application:

1. 7609 Terrace Ave (Parcel ID 0708-113-0635-7): The owners, Arthur and Megan Walela, are requesting a zoning variance from the side and rear setback to rebuild a two-car garage on their property. The two-car garage will be located 2 feet from the west side lot line (3 feet measured to the wall), and at the closest point, 10 feet from the rear setback (11 feet measured to the wall). Section 10.24(4) requires a minimum 8 feet side setback, and Section 10.24(6) requires a minimum 30 feet rear setback. All other dimensional standards for this R-2 zoned lot are met. There was a previous, similarly sized garage on this property that was removed, possibly around 8 years ago.

During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. The Zoning Board of Appeals may take action following the hearing.
