STAR Transit Celebrates Rider Appreciation Week!

TERRELL, TX - Apr. 16, 2024 - STAR Transit is pleased to announce the kickoff of Rider Appreciation Week, April 22-28. The celebration features free rides and other giveaways.

"Rider Appreciation Week is about expressing our gratitude to the communities we serve. All rides will be free from April 22-28," said Kim Britton, STAR Transit's deputy executive director. "Riders across Kaufman County, Rockwall County, Balch Springs, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Hutchins, Mesquite, and Seagoville should watch for our Prize Patrol, who will surprise lucky riders with free giveaways."

"We want to thank our riders for continuing to trust us with their mobility needs," said Tommy Henricks, STAR Transit's executive director. "For over four decades, STAR Transit has provided safe, affordable, and convenient transportation to North Central Texas, and we deeply appreciate our riders' constant support."

Riders are encouraged to post selfies on their social media pages throughout the week, using the hashtag #STAppreciatesMe. STAR Transit will post pictures on the STAR Transit Facebook (facebook.com/startransit) and Instagram (instagram.com/startransit_official) pages.
