18 November 2021Dow Jones ratifies AC in its Sustainability Indices

Monterrey, Mexico, November 18th, 2021.- Arca Continental, one of the top Coca-Cola bottlers in the world, was ratified for the third consecutive year as a member of the 2021-2022 Dow Jones Sustainability Index for Latin America (MILA), reasserting its commitment to environmental, social and governance issues.

The DJSI, in collaboration with Standard & Poors Global (S&P Global), specializes in assessing the environmental, social, and corporate governance performance of companies. They are pioneers in the field and the largest global benchmark for assessing corporate sustainability practices. Arca Continental has been part of the MILA Pacific Alliance Index since 2019, which groups the highest-ranking companies in the sustainability assessment carried out by S&P Global in Latin America.

"Our progress in the MILA Index strengthens our commitment to the integration of sustainability in our business strategy. Moving forward, we will continue to work towards creation of shared value, environmental stewardship, and best practices in corporate governance, as the pillars of sustained growth," stated Arturo Gutiérrez, CEO of Arca Continental.

In addition to the DJSI, Arca Continental has been listed for six years on the FTSE4Good Index, which is determined by the London Stock Exchange, and the Sustainability Index of the Mexican Stock Exchange, among others.

The company's progress in sustainability is a result of its continuous efforts to integrate these institutional efforts in all business areas and markets which we serve under a common strategic framework, including standardized metrics and building an increasingly stronger link with different stakeholders on the design, execution, and evaluation of the most important initiatives.
