Twice a year, for example, adesso offers young students in Munich an opportunity to spend a semester gaining practical IT experience in a variety of project roles as part of the adesso rotating internship. Today the programme is a proven model for recruiting IT talents.

To ensure that sought-after IT specialists feel at home at adesso Munich, the company put great emphasis on designing an inspiring atmosphere intended to promote communication and exchange among teams, including appealing conference and event rooms, an employee bistro with a variety of lunch offerings, quiet spaces for independent work and a parent-child office. A meditation and prayer room, open meeting areas and forums for team stand-ups and joint activities, as well as communicative team islands for focusing on project work, are also part of the amenities at the new location. As part of its commitment to climate friendliness, adesso encourages its local employees to use public transport and commute by bike, rounding off the mobility concept with a ground-floor bike room featuring a service station, showers and changing rooms. The office complex also includes an underground car park, which relieves the pressure on the parking situation in the immediate vicinity.

For site manager Niklas Spitczok von Brisinski, a pleasant working atmosphere and a corporate culture that builds on shared experiences are crucial aspects: 'We put stock in close collaboration between people, and in shared experiences and achievements. The design and spatial concept of our new location offers the ideal conditions for creative exchange and for more personal interaction and teamwork - as soon as the situation permits. What's more, the new space allows us to accommodate in-house project teams for quite a few of our customers, who have tended to cut back on office space as a result of Covid.'

One real highlight, and a symbol of the value of communication at the new offices, is adesso Munich's 'Interaction Room'. The space on the fourth floor rises a prominent 8 meters into the sky. In this creative multimedia room with customisable whiteboard walls, adesso works with its customers to develop the software specifications that will shape the digitalisation projects of the future (see picture).
