Meeting with the Minister of Development of Brunei Darussalam

On April 23, 2022, on the sidelines of participation in the Fourth Asia-Pacific Water Summit the delegation of Tajikistan headed by the Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan Daler Juma and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda met with the Minister of Development of Brunei Darussalam Minister of Development Dato Seri Setia Ir Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar.

During the meeting discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, and the Minister of Brunei was invited to cooperate with Tajikistan in organizing the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development", 2018-2028 entitled "Catalyzing Water Action and Partnership at the Local, National, Regional and Global Levels" to be held from 6 to 9 June 2022 in Dushanbe and the United Nations Conference on the Comprehensive Mid-term Review of the Water Decade (March 22-24, 2023, New York).
