Edinburgh Rail Gourmet strike rock solid

Edinburgh Rail Gourmet strike rock solid again today in fight to end bullying.

RAIL UNION RMT said today that Rail Gourmet staff at Edinburgh Waverley are solidly supporting the latest round of strike action this weekend in a fight to end a culture of workplace bullying and harassment.

RMT General Secretary, Mick Lynch, said:

'‎I am proud to report that our Edinburgh Rail Gourmet members are standing rock soild again this morning and are attacting widespread support for their action.
'This dispute is all about respect and justice in the workplace. A culture of bullying and harassment has been allowed to develop at Edinburgh Waverley which has led to a wholesale breakdown in industrial relations and our members are saying enough is enough.

'It's now down to Rail Gourmet to tackle these long running and deep-seated issues and ensure our members are no longer confronted with this toxic working environment as this latest phase of action continues through to Monday.

'It is absolutely shocking that Rail Gourmet refuse to engage with ACAS while RMT remains available for talks.'
