UPDATE: Bank Robbery
(Peoria, IL) - Thursday, January 20, 2022 at approximately 1:59 pm, Peoria Police responded to PNC Bank, 1411 W Forrest Hill, regarding a report of a robbery.
Initial information gathered at the scene indicated a male suspect wearing dark clothing entered the bank. The suspect proceeded to a teller window and demanded money. No weapon was
displayed but was implied.
The suspect fled the area on foot, southbound, with an undisclosed amount of money.
Additional responding officers canvassed the area for anyone with information, including camera coverage. A K9 track was conducted with negative results.
No injuries were reported.

Peoria Police are seeking anyone with information regarding this incident. If the identity or the location of the suspect is known,
he should NOT be approached and is considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.

****UPDATE**** January 27, 2022
During the course of this investigation officers with the Peoria Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and Special Investigations Division (SID) established probable
cause for the arrest of 31-year-old Monterious M. Miller for the robbery of the PNC Bank on Thursday, January 20, 2022. (PPD Incident #22-1279)
At approximately 6:20 pm on Thursday, January 27, 2022 CID and SID officers conducted a vehicle stop in the 4700 block of N. Sterling Ave. where Miller was located and taken into custody.
Miller was transported to PPD for further interview and was subsequently arrested for Aggravated Robbery.
Miller also had a Peoria County warrant for Failure to Appear and was also arrested for Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding in connection to PPD Case #21-1130.
Miller was then transported to the Peoria County Jail.
