One-Way Traffic Control & Moving Closures
State Routes 49 & 88

Amador County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-88 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;

State Route 49

• Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through October 4, 2024.

• Moving closure from Amador/Calaveras County line to Route 16 for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, April 1, through Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 88

• Moving closure from Route 104 West to Route 49 North for striping operations beginning Tuesday, April 2, through Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Previtali Road to West Molofino Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, April 2, through Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
