Eastbourne Metro Bank Joins St Wilfrid’s Ruby Celebrations

On 29^th October, the UK's community bank, Metro Bank, will join hundreds of businesses and individuals in Eastbourne to celebrate St Wilfrid's Hospice 40^th anniversary. Over the past four decades, St Wilfrid's Hospice has touched the lives of thousands in the community providing end of life care and support.

To mark this ruby themed milestone, St Wilfrid's will celebrate by painting the town red - calling on local residents and businesses to show their support with red decorations and lights. Eastbourne Metro Bank will be decorated with red balloons and will collect donations instore. In addition, store manager Ben Hemmings will tackle a forty kilometre cycle ride to boost the funds raised.

"As a community bank we are proud to support such a cherished local charity," explains Ben Hemmings, Eastbourne's Metro Bank store manager. "We stand with the rest of Eastbourne in celebrating St Wilfrid's Hospice which has made such a positive contribution to so many local residents and their families over the past 40 years."

Metro Bank's Eastbourne store is located at Unit 70/71, The Beacon, 59 Terminus Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3NW. The store is currently open Monday - Saturday 08:30am - 6pm. Sunday: 11am - 5pm.
